I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience my family and I had at your establishment yesterday. We visited for breakfast and unfortunately, three of us experienced upset stomachs after consuming the same breakfast items. Upon requesting the bill, we simply asked for a glass of water before departing. However, to our surprise, your waiter informed us that it was not permitted and insisted we purchase a bottle of water instead. Despite explaining that our bill was already being prepared and we were ready to leave, we were met with the same response. What compounded our frustration was witnessing another table receive water promptly upon request for their puppy. We couldn't help but wonder why a dog could receive water while paying customers were denied such a basic request. Despite spending R4400 during our visit, the refusal to provide a simple glass of tap water left us extremely disappointed with the level of service provided. Our attempts to address this with the owner were met with indifference, as she walked away midway through our explanation. Regrettably, my family and I have decided not to patronize your establishment in the future. Additionally, I feel compelled to share our experience with others in our neighborhood and on various food review platforms to highlight the poor customer service we encountered.
