Had lunch at Poplars on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. The ambience on the stoep was relaxed, yet sophisticated. This was enhanced by the friendly service and beautiful food-that tasted great.I had the mushroom risotto as a starter and the Parmesan shavings made this dish decadent enough to want to lick my plate and dont get me started on the jus served with the rump steak. My partner had the butternut & goats cheese tart which looked divine-she didnt want to share. She had a chefs special as a main course- a trio of venison;kudu stuffed with blue cheese, ostrich with a chocolate reduction -hope you get the picture.Notifications
