Disappointed and disgusted!! I like Spur’s food especially the Buffalo Wings. On the 23rd March’24 I went to do some shopping at Village mall. While I was there I ordered Buffalo Wings, Ribs, etc. at the Spur Silver Falls. When I collected the food at the Spur Silver Falls a waitress (Nellie) assisted me with making payment. At the first attempt she informed me the transaction was declined. She didn't give me the declined slip instead she threw it away without showing it to me. Why I can’t say. The transaction went through on the second time unbeknown to me I actually paid twice for the food I ordered. I informed Nellie that this was the case. She called Lindie (the financial manager). Lindie said there will be a reversal. To date one of the transactions was never reversed! My husband and I went to the Spur. We spoke to Thumi who in turn spoke to Themba. We proofed that I paid twice for the by showing Phumi a bank statements on 2 different occasions. Now I'm struggling to get my money back!!! Here’s my question: is it common practice for Spur waiters/waitresses to de***** customers i.e. *******ly obtain money from customers by deception? I will not let this go until I get my money back with an apology!
