There's not much that makes me happier than a perfect avo - except perhaps a perfect avo, with smoked salmon, gluten-free bread and poached eggs. Loved my breakfast at Manna on Saturday - sadly I couldn't sample the famed coconut bread because it contains gluten, but the gluten-free bread was delicious. My only gripe: I did feel like the dish needed a sauce - and I'm not sure that the Balsamic drizzle on the plate was the right thing. Perhaps just a squeeze of lemon would've rounded it off! My waiter was also particularly conscientious, and made me feel at home, despite the fact that I was dining alone.
