How we looked forward to this amazing dining experience! Well not. Not receiving any FINE DINING service as we walked around three proposed settings and then eventually be seated at a table with a view. Please note it was not set. Not receiving any FINE DINING service as we asked for a particular MCC, was told it was in stock, then was not in stock, then the Rose was in stock. Not receiving any FINE DINING service when we asked for a Merlot vintage before 2021 and then was presented with a Red Blend "that is very popular" Clearly when we stated in English that "popular" is no standard we live by, every question we asked with that respond did not go well. This website states Leeto Restaurant as… Fine-dining food, Modern, Seafood, South African, Vegan food When stating this as an effort to help and give advice, we were told that they have NEVER claimed to be a fine dining establishment. Although they service a five star hotel in Paternoster? We have also been told on paying the bill for our 2 servings of oysters (arrived 20 minutes apart) that several people were upset with our approach to the serving staff. I do apologise for trying to improve a so called FINE DINING establishment with basic service protocol. It is sad and totally uncalled for that South African Clientele be given sub zero service due to the staff assuming that we are Foreigners because of the way we present ourselves. On top of this our Host in Paternoster gets thrown into their defence, it's a shame! Reading the previous reviews leaves me speechless, Chef Garth did not even stand up for his team when I approached him directly.
