Sorry, but CHORUS was my least favorite fine dining experience in many years of sampling all our culinary gems. Had the worst dish ever tasted, a savory onion custard which just made me ask 'why?' - not one diner in our group could eat it, the texture left a horrid feeling in my mouth and the taste almost spoilt the rest of our lunch. Best menu item was the bread and butter, but I did not appreciate getting yet another slice of the same bread with the cheese trolly dessert course! Again, needed some crunchy crackers or something with more texture. The staff were lovely, attentive and knowledgeable, the decor exudes a cool ambience and views are obviously a positive drawcard, but the entire menu left us wanting more...more flavor, more texture, more variety. It was just not up there with the greats of our culinary scene.
