We had our anniversary dinner at Browns recently and I was very impressed.

What a lovely setting - we sat outside on the deck overlooking the garden and it was perfect. The service was discreet and very efficient.

The carpaccio was outstanding. We had the roast duck and grilled salmon respectively and they were both very tasty indeed. I like the fact that the chef walks around and talks to the guests when he has time - a nice touch.

They have great coffee by the way; the Espresso was perfect.
