A lovely experience sitting out under the oaks, while children paddled in the nearby stream. The food is excellent homey, comfort food. I really enjoyed the springbok wrapped in bacon. The deep-fried brisket was a little overly salted. The peanut butter bombe was totally overwhelming. Service was a little slow, but the host was very generous in fitting us in, (we were lucky that another table had been a no-show - who does that?) All in all, a great experience though.
