The Lennox

Created by Denzel Heath of Thirst Bar Services, this cocktail won the South African leg of the global Bacardi Legacy competition. Denzel will compete against 37 countries in May to bring the title to South Africa. Here’s how to recreate this glorious drink yourself.

Ingredients

50ml BACARDÍ Carta Oro rum
12.5ml Perdo Ximenez Sherry
12.5ml 1:1 banana syrup
12.5ml fresh lemon juice
2 dash all spice/Pimento Aromatic Bitters
12.5ml egg white

Method

Add all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Seal the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for a count of 10 seconds. Double strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass using a hawthorne and tea strainer. Garnish by spraying fragrant citrus oils over the top of the drink by expression the skin of a lemon.
