Gather your companions – the good apples and the bad – to celebrate the blend of choice this St. Patrick’s Day. Tullamore D.E.W., or Tully, as it’s true fans call it, commemorates this day with a bittersweet combination of cider, brown sugar and stout; they call it the Bad Apple D.E.W. cocktail.
It is said that the Irish know a lot about two things: whiskey and character. Whether it’s a red, green or a yellow apple they’re all golden and while speaking of character, let it be known that the Bad Apple D.E.W is a cocktail full of it. Cheers to you, to life, and to Tully this St. Patrick's Day.
METHOD
In a collins glass, soak the sugar cube with stout, then muddle. Add bitters and Tullamore D.E.W. Original and stir to dissolve the sugar. Add ice and continue to stir. Top with cider and garnish with two apple slices.
