PL8 is the restaurant in the new Signature Life Hotel 64 in Gordon Road in Durban’s Morningside.

Situated in one of the suburb’s majestic old blocks of flats, the hotel has two new wings at the back, and a clean-lined modern interior.

The restaurant is situated more or less in the foyer and has an open-plan kitchen. Fill up on corn fritters topped with smoked salmon and crème fraîche, unusual pizzas and Yorkshire puddings filled with sliced rare beef and caramelised onion.
