Now here’s some great news for a Friday: popular Parkhurst burger and craft beer joint The Wolfpack is set to expand its hunting ground with the opening of a new branch in Sandton on Tuesday* 13 January.

The new restaurant will boast a sophisticated, unique interior, but will offer the same menu as the original 4^th Avenue Parkhurst branch, featuring burgers, 13 local craft beers on tap (including a mystery tap), and a wide selection of top-shelf booze and cocktails. You can expect over ten gourmet burgers, including the Big Bad Wolf, with a cheddar-stuffed patty, wasabi onion rings, jalapeños, pineapple, pancetta, fresh tomato and garlic aioli; the teriyaki pork burger with a soy-basted pork patty, Japanese mayo and fresh Asian salad; and the veggie burger with a beetroot, cilantro, chickpea and feta patty with rocket, roasted plum tomatoes, tempura zucchini and lemon mayo. For the not-so-hungry, there are starters like tempura zucchini sticks with lemon mayo, hummus and sweet potato chips, and three-cheese nachos. A selection of ‘fresh’ sides allows the health-conscious customer a choice of four different salads while the ‘fried’ section includes favourites like shoelace fries with garlic aioli, and crispy wasabi onion rings with wasabi and ginger mayo. The Wolfpack also caters to banters by removing the bread bun from their burger order. A bar snack menu will also be on offer.
