New at the Point Waterfront in Durban is the Docklands Hotel, a Signature Life venue. Its classy, modern restaurant, Wodka, opens on to a courtyard where light meals are served throughout the day.

The menu is loosely termed fusion, and features items like a Moroccan lamb burger, tempura linefish, lamb shank dim sum, smoked salmon trout blini and pumpkin ravioli with micro red kohlrabi.

There is also a teppanyaki table, offering teriyaki beef, plum chicken, chilli lime seafood, and basil and ginger lobster. Desserts like banana panacotta appeal.
