New: Elmarie’s Wine on Napier Street
This new addition to Cape Town’s De Waterkant functions as a great lifestyle venue for those who appreciate good food and fine wines. Browse around the wine shop, test one of the eight wines available for tasting and indulge in a light meal.

The menu features light tapas-style items including cheese platters, meze, salads, ciabatta bread with yummy fillings, weekly specials (such as the infamous seven cheese quiche with side salad) and of course wine by the glass.

There is a wine club and tasting evenings too, with advice on food and wine pairing – the last one featured Mooiplaas wines.

The shop stocks a variety of boutique wines from different regions and features 100 labels in the shop at any given time.

Owner, Elmarie Taljaard, has been in the wine industry for more than a decade, covering a wide spectrum: retail, distribution, wholesale, sales, marketing and creating four vintages of her own wine.
