For 21 years, Chef Margot Janse steered the award-winning The Tasting Room in Franschhoek. In the process she garnered dozens of awards, including our coveted Chef of the Year award. Ahead of this year’s Eat Out Mercedes-Benz Restaurant Awards, we caught up with the inspiring chef, who is now running the Isabelo feeding scheme, to find out where she goes out to eat now that she’s not behind the pass any more.
