The little town of Stanford has more than its fair share of excellent restaurants, and Havercroft’s is one of its real gems. Innes and Brydon Havercroft opened their doors 15 years ago, and their cosy little restaurant still serves up good-for-the-soul country-style food. Think crunchy crackling, decadent sauces (Dijon cream sauce or marsala wine and mustard sauce, anyone?) and beautifully wicked desserts.
