The refurbishment of The Oyster Box in Umhlanga is nearing completion, and the revamped premises, to open early October,  will feature no less than three bars and two dining destinations.

For a quick drink head to the  Lighthouse Bar with its rooftop location and views of the nearby lighthouse, or  stop at the marbled Oyster Bar for a quick seafood snack harvested from the hotel’s own oyster beds.

Executive chef Kevin Joseph will head up the Ocean Terrace restaurant, which will focus on seafood dishes and curries, as well as wood-fired pizza. For special occasions, The Grill Room provides an extravagant dinner dance venue.
