If you appreciate fine wine as much as a good meal, then catch Franschhoek heavyweights, Grande Provence, at the brand new Kombuis en Kelderfees held at The Castle of Good Hope from 12 to 14 October.

Grand Provence will present their award-winning wines as part of this showcase of the best produce the Cape has to offer, with other local produce to get excited about including anything from chocolate and brandy to oysters and sparkling wine.

Food fanatics will also be able to see cookery demonstrations by the likes of Malay cooking specialist Cass Abrahams, cocktail connoisseur Rocco de Villiers and Sarie food editor Barbara Joubert.
