17 of Joburg’s talented chefs will all come together at the Taste of Jo’burg outdoor event, from 6-9 September, as they whip up their signature dishes for you to sample. What a delicious start to spring and great relaxed way to sample what Joburg has to offer.

The four day food festival, directed by well-known foodie personality, Justine Drake, will take place outdoors at Joburg’s Wanderers Club, where chefs from top restaurants will cook for you alongside, premium drink offerings and live entertainment.

A wide variety of food styles will be on offer including include French, Italian/Mediterranean, Japanese, Asian/Fusion, Thai/Sushi, International, Spanish/Tapas, Contemporary and Greek/Mediterranean.

The festival gives you the opportunity to try small dishes from top restaurants, at a lower price – the ideal way to find out if you want to go back for more and also to spread your wings a bit and try something new.

‘Taste of …’ festivals have been held all around with world with the aim of reflecting the spirit and style of the city they are held in and with a sophisticated backdrop, with Taste of London a popular event in the UK and Taste of Chicago in the US, the world’s biggest ‘Taste of…’ event.
