We arrived at Tarragon Restaurant in the Westlake Lifestyle centre, only to be greeted by an incredibly friendly manageress with a beautiful smile.

She took us to our table, presented us with a couple of menus and offered for us to have a drink whilst we look at the menu. To me, that is service! Within seconds, our drinks were at the table and then our waiter introduced himself.

The manageress then arrived at our table with a plate of taste sushi, which she said the chef had made for us complimentary. At this point, you could bring us bad food, and wed still walk out happy with that lasting first impression. Needless to say, it only got better. The food is unbelievable. In fact, Id go as far as to say almost the best kept secret in Cape Town.

The prices are absolutely in line. They offer most of their menu as a starter or a main which I find incredibly friendly. After eating our meal, the chef came out and chatted to us and after meeting him, I now know why the menu is so friendly. What a good guy!

A definite must to try. Two thumbs up!
