I try to make use of the specials offered by restaurants as often as i can. Winter there seem to be a lot more, therefore we seem to eat out more. Most of them are notifications from sms, facebook or emails or when we visit the restaurat

Utilise the specials infrequently as my experience is that the establishments offering specials do so under some protest, and as patron, i sense the undercurrent……………………………………
Breakfast specials are my favourite, especially if they include coffee. Generally I find out about them on websites like eatout.co.za, or food and restaurant blogs, and sometimes Wikideals has good deals.

I would make use of specials if I lived in a city, but we live 200 km from the nearest city, & only have a choice of 4 small restaurants sadly!

I like to search for unusual spots, not to far from home or when I am travelling away on business, I choose to search Eatout to check out interesting and affordable food. And I love being able to BYO without having to pay silly corkage.

With our children out of the house we find it difficult to cook for only the 2 of us so we regularly on the lookout for restaurant specials. We also try not to have big meals and there are hardly any restaurants that allow sharing. We therefore many times will have our veggies first and will take almost half of our portion of the meat dish home and have that the following evening.

Usually check out the eatout guise for daily specials or I follow the restaurants I am interested in as they seems to update their pages with specials more regularly.

We love good food and dining experiences are like a mini holiday for us – we go out and savour every moment and every bite. We tend to make use of wiinter specials to visit restaurants that we could not normally easily afford. The combination of art, taste, science, hospitality, fun, wine, food, good company and amazing settings, are what life is about!

I love restaurant specials and really make use of it often! Besides saving costs(which everyone watch nowadays), It just makes decisions easier as to where to go and enjoy a meal. The places I’ve been to thus far, have never disappointed with regards to quality and quantity, which can be a fear at times when making use of restaurant specials. So even though it’s a special, the presentation and flavours have always left a GOOD TASTE in my mouth!
