Every year Starbucks launches a range of special hand-crafted drinks as part of a festive menu – something eagerly awaited by Starbucks fanatics. For South Africans, this is even more of a novelty since this will be our very first Starbucks Christmas.

Two of the Starbucks branches, Rosebank and the Mall of Africa, are launching these new drinks with a big splurge tonight, 3 November, to a number of specially invited guests. They’ll then be available throughout the fun season until the 3rd of January 2017!

The two new drinks? A Toffee Nut latte and a Gingerbread latte – both also available as icy Frappucinos for the Gauteng summer heat.

“We’re so excited that, for the first time in South Africa, the iconic Starbucks Christmas beverages will be available,” says Fareed Mohammed, head of Starbucks PR. “Customers can look forward to experiencing delight in every cup.”

Have your drinks there or take them away in Starbucks mugs or takeaway cups.
