Going to the Stellenbosch Wine festival? Then make sure that you go hungry as well as thirsty – for R180 The Restaurant at Jordan will spoil you senseless.
The menu includes pressed veal tongue, gremolata, pickled pine rings and sautéed duck gizzards served with Jordan Riesling. Then youll tuck into a chowder of smoked kingklip, Saldanha Bay mussels and chives, which is served with Jordan Nine Yards Chardonnay.
Next will be braised Overberg lamb faggot, with garlic mash and fine beans paired with Jordan Cobbler’s Hill.
Dessert is poached farelle pear with Tulbagh stilton and brioche served with Jordan Merlot.
The Jordan Winery is also offering vertical and barrel tastings as well as guided cellar tours.
