When you visit Serendipity, a play heaven for kids, you expect to nibble on something while watching your little monsters frolic about in the various play areas. But you don’t expect the food to be so delicious.
For breakfast you can pile your plate at the harvest table, or order yummy morning treats such as crumpet stacks with fresh berries and mascarpone topped with a berry coulis, or French toast with Nutella. Lunch is a light offering. Try the pear, chicken, walnut and feta salad with a light citrus vinaigrette, or the mustard fillet salad with mushrooms, caramelised balsamic onions and honey mustard vinaigrette. Everything on the menu is prepared with fresh seasonal ingredients, including the old-fashioned homemade burger, which comes with trimmings including avo and relish. You may want to resort to the kiddies menu for dessert since it boasts “the best cupcakes ever”. Which they absolutely are.
