Fill up on some fabulous fromages from small boutique and big commercial producers alike at the South African Cheese Festival, held from 27 to 30 April 2012. Of course, no cheese-tasting event worth its salt should be without ample supply of wine, which is why there’s also plenty of top tipples on offer.
The South African Cheese Festival, with more than 200 different cheeses and countless delectable delicacies, celebrates a decade of superb cheese and family fun in 2012. Over the years, more than 250 000 cheese devotees have enjoyed and experimented with the magnitude of dairy products available from South Africa’s many artisan producers as well as some of the bigger names in the game.
