It’s that time of the year again, when temperatures begin to rise and the outdoor festivities begin.

Over the weekend of 14 to 16 October, the Robertson Wine on the River festival will return to the banks of the Breede River.

Now in its sixth year, the festival will be held in a spacious marquee at the Goudmyn farm, situated on the R317 between Robertson and Bonnievale. More than 300 wines from over 40 wineries will be available for tasting and purchasing at cellar door prices, and a dedicated Chardonnay tent will host tutored tastings.

Once you’ve had your fill of wine, browse the Robertson farmers’ market, take a lazy cruise down the river, listen to the live jazz and blues, or shop for arts and crafts from the valley. A range of childrens’ activities will also be on offer.
