Company Social Brasserie has an extensive menu of food, beer and wine which offers those looking for a casual dinner (or maybe drinking experience) a good selection. The food was well cooked and the griller should be commended by the food lacked flavour and finesse. There is no reason to return to this restaurant for the food.
Sadly, the restaurant only had one other table which is indicative of the sign of the times and the state of the Gqeberha beachfront. As a result we had an attentive waitress but she was not well trained so she failed to flourish.

The restaurant is situation virtually on the sand so it doesn’t get better in terms of position but the aesthetic is challenged by the fact that the restaurant and the area is looking tired. It would be great to see it revitalised.
Perhaps an afternoon of cocktails on a summer day to watch the waves would be fun but definitely not a dining experience to be repeated.

A large wine list that lacked creativity or individuality. With limited selection of reasonably priced sauvignon blanc the best option on offer was a Muldersbosch Steen op Hout Chenin Blanc.
The cocktail and beer menu however looks interesting with lots to offer anyone looking to sit back and watch the waves.

The waitress was gentle and attentive and we were well looked after but since there was only one other table this is not a surprise. She didn’t however, introduce herself and had limited knowledge of the menu.
When asked if the coriander could be excluded from the fresh salsa she said yes and then proceeded to cancel the salsa completely. All in all she didn’t understand the menu and hadn’t been trained. She had great energy and loads of potential.
The restaurant is well positioned right on the crashing waves of Kings Beach. The interior is well designed but it needs attention.
On a cold night the metal chairs make for a chilly bum but otherwise the aesthetic is good but could be better.
