Reuben’s and Pezula collaborate for Gastronomica

Chef Reuben Riffel of Reubens restaurant in Franschhoek is to appear as guest chef at Zacharys restaurant at the Pezula Resort Hotel and Spa in Knysna, during the Gastronomica festival later this month.

Chosen as part of this years Hot Spot restaurant route Zacharys restaurant will also have a speical menu created by resident Executive Chef, Geoffrey Murray, to reflect the selection of products chosen by the Gastronomica panel which focuses on ingredients that are bio-friendly, in season and fresh.

Sea water marinated fish with naartjie, asparagus and wild rocket as well as white chocolate and Knysna honey mousse are just some of the inspiring creations diners can look forward to.

Chef Murray will also pair his culinary artistry with selected garagiste wines from Katbakkie, on 29 September.
