Situated in the heart of Umhlanga, in place of where the old Isle Maurice used to be, Dante is the latest restaurant to hit the scene and has already become widely known as the trendiest spot to spend your weekends. With unparalleled views overlooking the Umhlanga promenade and a vibey interior, it’s the perfect place to unwind with a mocktail in hand. They have curated a special mocktail menu that is sure to invoke feelings of relaxing with a “real” drink in hand. A favourite is the Watermelon Basil Smash, a refreshing tall cooler of freshly pressed watermelon shaken with fresh basil leaves and topped with soda. Another popular choice is a slushy, such as the Green Stream, comprising of a cucumber, apple, ginger, lemon and rooibos-and-apple tea infusion.
