Last night, President Ramaphosa announced that there would be no immediate change to the country’s lockdown level. However, he strongly urged South Africans to be vaccinated, especially in light of the emergence of a new, potentially more contagious strain of COVID-19. With the world once again in limbo and vaccinations being regarded as one of the best weapons in our arsenal, we want to know: should it be mandatory for restaurant workers to be vaccinated against COVID-19? And should diners be requested to produce proof of vaccination when making a reservation at your restaurant?
