Proudly presented by The Kove Collection (their previous most recent endeavour being Sonny & Irene), The Nines elevates dining and sundowners to the roof of Sea Point, where guests can soak in views in one of Cape Town’s much-loved suburbs.
Situated on the ninth floor of the new Station House at 19 Kloof Road, The Nines is designed to provide 270-degree views overlooking upper Sea Point. Guests are immersed in the spectacular setting through floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the feeling of the enchanting Atlantic Ocean into the space, making the space a perfect option for a breezy summer lunch, or a romantic sunset dinner.
“We wanted to create a warm and inviting space where people can come to indulge in incredible food,” explains Alison Thomas, Head of Operations. “The Nines is a special venue where people can come to create memories with the people that they love for years to come.”
The menu boasts classics done right, with a carefully curated list of favourites that appeal to a variety of palates without overcomplicating things, think Lates Seabass, Lezena Spatchcock Roast Chicken and Seafood Risotto.
The interiors are designed to mirror the world outside, with a focus on summery organic shades or sand, taupe and stone complimented with oak panelling and comfortable sink-into couches. Whether you decide to pop in for a meal, or lounge at the cocktail bar and deck, it’ll be a summer hit.
The Nines is open for lunch and dinner, seven days a week. Ample, secure parking and ground-floor access lead to elevators directly up to the ninth floor of Station House.
