Set in Joburgs trendy Melrose District, The Peech Hotels 30-seater Bistro at The Peech has received a makeover of note.

Highlighting owner James Peechs commitment to eco-friendly living, the restaurant now boasts an earthy ambience of sandstone flooring, minimalist wooden blinds and plush leather couches.

Another new addition is the bistros new wall-to-wall cellar, which houses a covetable collection of rare local and international vintages, and can be reserved for intimate dining experiences.

Taking inspiration from his new surroundings, head chef Greg Jardim has developed a complementary menu of seasonally inspired fare. “The bistro offers affordable, unpretentious food that is wholesome, simple and tasty, says Jardim. With the addition of our new bespoke wine cellar, each dish on the menu can now be paired with a recommended cultivar.”
