S. Pellegrino and Acqua Panna continue to support Asian gastronomic excellence and emerging talent as headline sponsors of the sixth annual edition of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, taking place 25 to 27 March in Macau, China. The event will bring together the continent’s leading chefs, restaurateurs, sommeliers and culinary minds to Macau’s Wynn Palace to celebrate excellence in gastronomy.

Highlights of the three-day event include the #50BestTalks, a mixture of cooking demonstrations and discussion around different themes of identity, from Asian emigrant cuisine and regional sourcing, to gender issues in the culinary world. Speakers will include chefs from Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants and beyond.

The event will come to a close with the awards ceremony hosted at the Wynn Palace’s Grand Theatre, where the official winner of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2018 will be announced. This year’s judging panel is comprised of the independently appointed Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants Academy Chairs, each selected for their rich knowledge and experience within the worlds of hospitality and gastronomy. The panel will be chaired by Evelyn Chen (SE Asia – South) and also includes Crystyl Mo (China and Korea), Mason Florence (SE Asia – North), Rashmi Uday Singh (India, Central Asia and subcontinent), Susan Jung (Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan), and Takanori Nakamura (Japan).
