Mont Rochelle’s Miko Restaurant is hosting a series of live music evenings with Emmy-nominated musician James Stewart. On selected dates, music lovers will be able to enjoy his acoustic performances served alongside gourmet dishes and home-grown wines.

As one of South Africa’s most acclaimed artists, Franschhoek-based James has spent his career delivering chart-topping hits, including ‘Shine’ and ‘A Man Like Me’. After a brief hiatus to focus on commercial writing and his children, he returned with new music in 2016 and has been a regular on the Western Cape music scene ever since. This winter will be the first time that James brings his signature melodies to Mont Rochelle.

In addition to audio bliss, attendees can look forward to a locally inspired unforgettable three-course dinner menu featuring dishes like pork cheek and prune terrine, rooibos-smoked kudu, pork loin with creamy garlic potatoes and beef fillet with bone marrow. Desserts might include chocolate fondant, banoffee cheesecake or Steri Stumpie mousse.
