If you’re from the Cape and can’t make it to the Knysna Oyster Festival next month, get your mollusc fix at the Cape Milner Hotel in Tamboerskloof, who are offering a fab oyster and bubbly special.

The special, at R90 per person, includes six large oysters accompanied by a glass of Pongracz. Over and above this, one oyster on every fourth plate served will offer the lucky diner an alluring pearl which entitles you to a delicate string of fresh water pearls, courtesy of the hotel.

This is enough to get anyone out of their homes during winter for a revitalising zinc boost!

The Milner Oyster promotion runs from 12 noon every day until the end of July.
