No matter what kind of breakfast you’re into, Syrup has something for you. The eggs Benedict is well prepared, with perfectly creamy and not-too-tangy hollandaise sauce. It comes with English muffins that are light and fluffy – the perfect vehicle for the soft-poached eggs and golden sauce. The ‘Avo Great Day’ is a perfectly balanced combination of avocado, fennel and toast, plus oozing a poached egg.

Prefer something sweet? Try the classic cinnamon-roll flapjacks that melt in your mouth, the sweet cream flapjacks or the crunchy French toast (coated in cornflakes!).
With a great barista behind the counter, you should expect nothing less than the perfect cup of coffee. A must-try on the menu is the iced coffee (called the Bumble Bee), which balances sweetness and the robust flavours of the coffee. There’s also a coffee press option that is supposed to serve three, but is more suited for one.

The waiter and waitress are very helpful and explain all the options in detail before proceeding to make suggestions. The barista is great, too.
Since it’s new, it can be a little quiet and awkward, but the cosy restaurant has a light and fresh interior.
