We called on all food lovers to nominate their favourite restaurants to be considered for the 2015 edition of Eat Out magazine. Only 500 of them will make the cut!
Nominated restaurants, whether they’re popular haunts or hidden gems, will be rated by Eat Out’s editorial panel of food industry experts. The scores will then be tallied to determine the Eat Out 500, the top 500 restaurants in South Africa, which will be featured in the magazine for 2015.
The nominations process was an opportunity for passionate diners to get involved in the selection process and to help us make sure that no worthy eateries are left out of the Eat Out 500.
We encouraged you further by giving away a grand prize of a R3000 voucher for luxury homeware store Entrepo (www.entrepo.co.za) to one lucky nominator.
Please note that you only had to nominate a restaurant once for it to be considered; and you could nominate as many restaurants as you like.
The competition closed on Tuesday 13 May 2014.
