Bree Street’s Bocca now has new owners, Guido and Adnana Brambilla, who have revamped the menu and refreshed the décor. The new-look Bocca will offer diners urban Italian cuisine in a relaxed yet refined setting.
The new menu has been carefully curated, with a tapas-style concept lending itself to group sharing. Highlights from the ‘bites’ section of the menu include a plate of the classic Mediterranean-inspired polpo of octopus with potatoes and basil pesto.
In the ‘crispy’ section you could find dishes like ortofritto of zucchini, asparagus and artichokes; beef, pork and lamb meatballs dipped into a fresh mayo verde; and a misto of calamari, white bait, prawns and mussels. The ‘grains’ part of the menu is made up of a diverse selection of Chef Guido’s imported Rummo pasta dishes and there’s also a small pizzette section.
Bocca is open for lunch and dinner Mondays to Saturdays from 12pm to 10pm.
