Constantias popular French country-style Pastis Bistro Brasserie, situated alongside the vineyards at Groot Constantia, has recently appointed new Head Chef, Steve van Graan.

Pastis is known for its informal, relaxed atmosphere, 1920’s brasserie-style art noveau décor and heartwarming, affordable meals.

Bringing a breath of fresh air to the eatery, Steve has 13 years of international experience and a Michelin-star training, adding no doubt to their future culinary upliftment.

Says Steve: I want Pastis to be known for its consistency, as a venue that offers consistently good bistro-style food, which is straightforward and consistently good value for money.

Classic dishes on the menu include, French Onion Soup, Tomato Tart Provençale, classic Bouillabaisse, Coq au Vin and Filet au Poivre.
