The Barn Restaurant at Irene Farm (Irene)

Make Mother’s Day a happy one at The Barn. On 12 May, the Irene Farm restaurant is serving a buffet lunch from 12pm to 3pm for R295 per person. Bookings are essential.

The Blades (Kameeldrift)

The Blades invites you to bring your mom to be treated like a queen for the day. For R325 per adult and R150 per child under 12 (those under 3 are free), you can enjoy a buffet lunch and loads of entertainment from 11am. Booking is essential.

Chapters Restaurant (Centurion)

Located at the Leriba hotel, Chapters is offering something different for Mother’s Day. From 12pm to 3pm there will be a lunch braai buffet, as well as free wine tastings – what more could you ask for? The cost is R295 per person and you must make a booking.

Kingsley’s Restaurant (Kameeldrift East)

Head out to the countryside to Kievits Kroon Faircity Hotel, where the restaurant on site will prepare a special Mother’s Day Carvery Buffet for R460 per adult and R210 per child under 13. The day will also include a welcome drink, a gift for mom, live entertainment and children’s entertainment.

Lagom Café (Lynnwood)

Mothers get the VIP treatment as well as a free glass of wine and a chocolate brownie dessert on 12 May. Share a Razzle Dazzle lunch platter and be entertained by Leon Gropp, entertainer and TV presenter, for R250 per person. Children under 12 pay R80 and receive a burger or chicken strips plus a cooldrink.

Le-Si Restaurant (Lynnwood Manor)

If you’re looking for something festive, you can’t beat Mother’s Day Lunch at LeSi, where a three-course meal is served alongside live music from the restaurant’s singing waiters. Book now to avoid disappointment. The lunch, entertainment and a welcome drink will cost R375 per adult, R150 for children between the ages of four and eight, and R50 for children between two and four.

Orange Restaurant and Wine Cellar (Arcadia)

Make Mother’s Day extra special with a lovely lunch from Orange Restaurant and Wine Cellar for R195 per person (including a complementary glass of bubbly). The menu includes a shrimp cocktail starter; roasted full chicken served with salad, vegetables or starch; and a traditional crème brûlèe. Waterkloof Guest House (Waterfkloof)

Mom will delight in the delicious three-course meal at this restaurant with a beautiful garden setting. R380 includes a welcome drink, three courses, live entertainment, a small gift and a professional family photo.

Zagora Grill Room (Centurion)

With a generous selection ranging from soups, cold meats and salads to fish, a carvery, various main courses and a long list of desserts, every mom will be catered for at the special Mother’s Day buffet lunch. The cost is R395 per person but children between the ages of six and 11 years old pay R195 each.
