Mike Bassett, the award-winning chef behind Cape Town favourites as Ginja and Shoga, is to open a new restaurant at the newly refurbished Vineyard Hotel in Newlands, later this year.
The hotels previous restaurant, Au Jardin, served its last meal on Friday 31 August and preparations are now in place for the launch of Myoga, which is scheduled for early November 2007.
