MasterChef Australia’s George Calombaris tries classic South African desserts

MasterChef Australia’s George Calombaris is a busy lad. He’s just finished filming the latest season of the show, launched a new range of cookware, and released a brand new recipe book. As if that wasn’t enough, he also travelled to our shores for the Good Food & Wine Show a couple of weeks ago.

Eat Out nabbed a few minutes with him while he was in Cape Town, to get his judgement on some popular South African desserts. His verdict? Mostly positive – although there are a couple of desserts he’s not so sure about!
