Madame Zingara’s Theatre of Dreams is back and dazzling Durban once again. The team behind the dinner cirque spectacular have made Suncoast their home since February and, as luck would have it, recently announced they will be extending until 20 June.
The cast and crew are delighted to stay longer in the Zulu Kingdom. “We can’t understand how so many big concerts and productions skip out Durban when they come to South Africa. The energy of the crowd in Durban is like no other and, more than any other city, Durbanites know how to get dressed up, go out and have a good time!” says Mojo McDonald, general manager at the Theatre of Dreams.
In this year’s After Forever Tour, Madame Zingara embraces fairytale and fantasy, with the interior of the 100-year-old Spiegelpaleis (nicknamed Victoria) having been transformed into an enchanted forest, complete with characters to match, transporting you to another realm of magic and mystery. With an incredible variety of both local and international acts, the Madame has pulled out all the stops.
Madame Zingara crams value into each and every ticket for the two and a half hour show, a delicious four-course meal, a welcome drink upon arrival and a whole bunch of fun in-between. Tickets start at just R390 per person, so you’d struggle to find a better way to part with your cash.
Tickets are limited – blink and you may miss it. They are currently sold out until the end of April, with limited seats still available in May and June. This is also the last time Durban will experience Victoria, as she’s due to be shipped overseas after this tour. From Durban, Madame Zingara moves on to Cape Town to launch The Celebration in a brand-new custom-built tent, the Grand Victoria.
Be part of the magic by booking your place today. Madame Zingara’s After Forever Tour runs Tuesdays to Sundays at Suncoast.
