Cape Town soccer fans who missed out on 2010 Fifa World Cup tickets neednt be too down in the dumps. Situated only 250 metres from the Cape Town Stadium, The Lookout Village complex atop the V&A Waterfronts Breakwater parking garage will be showing all the World Cup games on big screens with plenty of drinks, snacks and entertainment.
Dubbed the party venue of The Lookout Village, Eagles Nest pub will be featuring Afro-acoustic muso, Shen Winberg, as well as marimba band amaBush. The Lions Den will offer authentic South African eats such as kudu and springbok; Ninas Wine Bar will have a spread of fresh sushi, oysters and top tipples with a live jazz and soul music soundtrack, while upmarket wine emporium Gabriellas Place will keep visitors glasses topped up.
