New Parktown North restaurant, Kitch, was created by partners Gerrie Bouwer and Carla Pienaar, who punt the idea of simple ‘Granny’s kitchen’ food – “Food that we all know and love”.

Kitch is like going home to your kitchen, or a kitsch version thereof, whipping up a spot of ‘comfort cuisine’ and tucking into it in an unpretentious and casual, yet themed, environment. Bric-a-brac is continuously gathered for display.

Head Chef, Kurt Pieterse, who prepares “honest, wholesome and unpretentious” food has premium prior experience from eateries such as the Cape Grace, Winchester Mansions and the Arabella Sheraton. And of course, the menu is seasonal.

Why not hire out Kitch as a fun venue for private functions, maximum seating is 40.
