Well-known BBC celebrity chef, Reza Mahammed, will be visiting the African Relish cooking school in Prince Albert this month.
On the weekend of 31 July, Mahammad will join African Relishs resident chef, Vanie Padayachee, in preparing traditional Karoo cuisine as part of a weekend-long culinary experience, which culminates in a hands-on cooking demonstration involving audience participation.
Restaurant-lovers will remember Padayachee from her days as young talent at such esteemed eateries as Grande Provence in Franschhoek and fu.shi fusion cuisine in Plettenberg Bay. Mahammad is best known for his Star if India restaurant in London, as well as numerous appearances on BBC.
Guests can join in this unique culinary experience at R4200 per person, which includes two nights accommodation in select Prince Albert guesthouses, a welcome dinner, breakfasts, lunch, a hands-on cooking demonstration with the two chefs on the Saturday, and a farewell picnic before departure on the Sunday morning.
