Kong Roast is a new concept eatery in Johannesburg where the contrasting worlds of east and west are cleverly juxtaposed in two distinct dining spaces.

The lighter, modern design of Roast will appeal to those who prefer their grills and seafood to be served in a more traditional fashion, while the moodier Kong draws on the exotic Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese cuisines for a more sensual Asian eating experience.

The two seperate spaces share a large terrace ideal for enjoying sundowners before a meal.

Feast on seared salmon served on black sticky rice with ginger butter cream sauce at Kong, or pan-fried fillet in bordelaise sauce with bone marrow nuggets at Roast.
