Head to the Helderberg Wine Route for a celebration of the fruit of the vine, with Eikendals Weintaufe Harvest Celebration on Sunday 13 April 2008.

Wine enthusiasts can join winemaker Henry Kotzé for a cellar talk and free wine tasting, as well as witness Cape Talk radio host, John Maytham, christening Eikendals new wine. And if the wine tasting leaves you feeling peckish join the farms restaurant, Haralds, for a wholesome mediterranean platter for two, including a bottle of Eikendal wine, all for only R190.

Live music will be provided by the popular Stellenbosch-based band, Delta Blue, while the fit and eager can join in the family fun-run through picturesque vineyards.

The celebration starts at 11:00 with the official baptism and tasting of the new Eikendal wine at 12:00.
