This year, the Wellington Wine Harvest Festival will be celebrated at 26 of the valleys beautiful estates between 20 and 22 March from noon to 3pm.

The 22nd will see participating winery, Doolhof Wine Estate, toast the fruits of its labour with a shimmy and a shake at a stylish lunch held at its beautiful manor house, Grand Dédale. Resident chef Heila Basson will dazzle guests with a scrumptious buffet spread, while nimble-fingered jazz musos Maurice Gavronsky and Andrew Ford will get feet tapping.

The Doolhof Estate wine cellar will also be open for tastings and sales and if you’re up for an amble, you can go for a post-prandial stroll among the vineyards and along the river.
