Chef Bruce Robertson has teamed up with the folks at Warwick Wine Estate to create the Gourmet Picnic Experience. There are various options and you choose how you want to enjoy it. For the adventurous types there’s the “Big Five Safari” where a “game ranger” will take you on a guided tour through the vineyards where you’ll spot the “Big Five” grape varietals. Then, you’ll dine alfresco at the mountaintop penthouse, complete with butler service. Or you can enjoy outdoor seclusion in the “picnic pods” while enjoying tasty country fare. For traditionalists who like to picnic on the grass, the Lawns option is a treat – gaze out over the dam and recline on scatter cushions while your butler does all the work.
